Wealth Tax and Gary Stevenson

This recent Daily Mirror article by Gary Stevenson is mind-blowing.  Gary made millions as a City trader (the official name for bankers who gamble with our money) but he couldn’t live with the injustice of the system, so now he’s one of the many millionaires who campaigns for the super-rich to pay more tax.

The article was written before the General Election was called, so his question is put to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak who made £2.2million last year, yet he was taxed at the same rate as the average teacher.   

Well, it’s looking like we will have a new Prime Minister very soon. Let’s all call for the new PM to introduce a wealth tax!
