Some information from Brent Council:
If you are not already registered, there are just two weeks left to register to vote in this year’s Local Elections. The deadline is Thursday 14 April 2022.
On Thursday 5 May, people in Brent will go to the polls to elect their ward councillors.
Carolyn Downs, Chief Executive of Brent Council, said: “The local elections are your opportunity to have a say in who represents your community. Councillors play a key role in working with residents to shape the local area, so it is important that you exercise your right and register to vote before 14 April.”
You can vote in person, by post or by proxy. The deadline to apply for a new postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 19 April.

After a review of Brent’s electoral arrangements by the Boundary Commission, there will be six fewer councillors and one more ward than at the last local election. These changes may affect the location of your polling station, so make sure you check your poll card to find out where to go to vote.
